3 AIRLINE STOCKS TO BUY TODAY -
TESLA STOCK VS FORD STOCK -
IS TESLA STOCK A BUY INHello everyone and welcome to investing with m. the market has seen everything in the last couple of weeks, much like every other sector the cannabis industry has also taken a hit during this crash. So in this short video I would love to do a side by side comparison of aurora cannabis and canopy growth in detail. Before we being make sure to subscribe and leave a like for the algorithm and please watch till the end as I will show which one I prefer over the other and why. Aurora cannabis and canopy growth corp are one of the worlds biggest marijuana producers. Both of these companies are registered in Canada but they operate worldwide. As Canada became the 2nd country after Uruguay to legalize cannabis on 17th oct 2018. Therefore becoming the biggest country where you can sell weed legally. Canopy growth was founded in 2013 as tweed marijuana inc by 2 businessman mark and bruce. In the same year aurora cannabis was founded by a group of 4 investing over 5 million of their own money. Both of these companies trade on the tsx in Canada and NYSE in the states. Aurora trades by ticker symbol ACB on both exchanges. And canopy trades as weed on the tsx and cgc on nyse. As of today aurora is trading at 92 cents. With a market cap of $1.07 billion. And canopy growth is trading at $14.58 with a market cap of $5.04 billion which makes canopy nearly 5 times the size of aurora despite starting the same year. Lets look into the returns of both of these companies since the ipo of nearly 6 years ago. so since ipo aurora has managed to return a average of 0.37% which sound bad and looks even worse when compared to canopy’s return of 29.5% per year. Keep in mind guys these companies trade both on the us and the Canadian exchanges but all of these numbers are from the NYSE. And none of these companies give any sort of dividend so both of them depend on 100% growth. To put things in perspective if you had decided to invest $10,000 in each of these companies in the ipo year. Aurora would have made you $224 over a period of 6 years and in the same time canopy growth would have made you $37,164. That’s the actual returns in monetary value.
